Whenwise Privacy Policy
Effective July 2, 2026
Whenwise is built so that we cannot see your information: not “we promise not to look,” but “there is nothing for us to look at.”
What we collect
Nothing. Whenwise has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics. There is no Whenwise server: the app never sends your information anywhere. The only network activity from the app is Apple’s own App Store system (StoreKit) processing your subscription, the same way every iOS app handles purchases. We do not collect, receive, store, sell, or share any personal information: not your name, email, birth date, earnings, or anything else.
Where your information lives
Everything you enter (your birth date, earnings, marital status, and planning choices) is stored only on your device, protected by iOS’s built-in encryption. If you import your Social Security statement file, it is read and processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes this information.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We receive no payment details and no identity information from your purchase. Apple’s handling of that data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
PDF reports
If you export a report, the PDF is created on your device. Where you send or share it is entirely under your control.
This website
whenwiseapp.com sets no cookies and collects no personal information. Our hosting provider (Vercel) gives us anonymous, aggregate page-view counts. The free break-even calculator runs entirely in your browser; the numbers you type are never sent to any server.
Email support
If you email support@berryboxdev.com, we receive whatever you choose to include in your message and use it only to help you. We don’t add you to lists or share your address.
Children
Whenwise is a retirement-planning tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If a future version of the app ever changes this posture (for example, adding optional anonymized analytics), we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before that version ships.
